Interpretation
Card 1 (The Moon) can denote a warning that things may not be what they seem on the surface. There is an element of evasiveness surrounding this new relationship. Her intuition may already be telling her that *something is not right* - now would be a good time to trust her gut reaction.
Card 2 (Two of Wands Reversed) is called the Cinderella Card. This denotes someone who doesn't feel *good enough* to be going to the ball. Someone who is lacking in confidence, or self esteem is indicated. Long distance relationships go awry under the influence of this card.
Card 3 (Nine of Cups Reversed) tells us any feelings she has towards this man are of a superficial nature. If her lover is especially good looking, this will serve to flatter her ego. Although there may be amorous antics in the bedroom, there will be no depth of feeling within this relationship. This could be a *friends with benefits* type union.
Card 4 (Three of Wands Reversed) says this couple are moving in different directions, their goals in life do not compliment each other. There may be a lack of growth within the union. This card is quite often called *the rebound card* - one of them could return to an ex partner. This card does not bode well for long distance relationships.
Card 5 (The Pope) tells us that any future between these two people would need to be of a traditional or conventional nature. I feel that they would quickly become very bored of each other. Although a committed relationship, even marriage, might present itself when this card falls in a reading , it may not be a very happy one.
